Pasture Horses.

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away I updated this blog. This semester was really rough and I participated in almost zero kayaking trips, school comes first than kayaking. However, now that i'm back in Clemson i've been able to paddle a little more often. This was the first time paddling since I broke my eardrum and it was great to finally out get again. Chan, Robbie, Adam, Mark, and I managed to get out for a little summertime horsepasture. The last time I ran the horsepasture was 3 years ago and I believe now that if I run it every 3 years i'll fine. Here are the pictures from our escapade....

Awesome ending to the day with a sick view at Windy Falls.

Peace and good lines to all....

Reservation Raven.

I hadn't realized how much I missed the Raven Fork until I got the chance to run it this weekend (and I was itching to try my new Burn) for the first time in about 6 months, and it was awesome to be back. This was also a special weekend because I got to take three first timers (Clay, Colin, and Jay) through this amazing gorge,I had a clean line on Big Boy, and it was 55 degrees and sunny. PERFECT DAY. Here is the photo evidence....and one poor quality video...

All in all this was one of the best days of paddling I have ever had. Oh yea, more thing, the new Burns are totally awesome, they paddle incredibly well.

peace and good lines,
